LinkedIn should be a major part of your prospecting mix. We all know it. But there is a fine line between using it effectively and generating solid opportunities, and doing it poorly and damaging your reputation.
How many times have you accepted a connection request only to be hit instantly with a poorly constructed and long-winded sales email? I get them all the time.
I am ok with getting sales messages and calls, I understand prospecting is a major part of sales. But it does not take that much to change your tactics and make your prospecting effective.
